Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including preparing and processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process financial transactions, such as invoices, vendor payments, and employee expense reimbursements
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  • Assist with audits and other ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency with accounting software and systems
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
