VSE Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Miramar, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, with a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. - Manage accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation
- Review and verify accuracy of invoices and supporting documentation
- Follow up on outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial statements
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and customer service skills
