Assist the SM Distribution in timely execution of Logistics cases. Key responsibilities includes: to supervise logistic operation, manage the entire order cycle, organize and monitor storage and distribution of goods, coordinate with plant for smooth deliveries and data input in system.


Inspection of Tractors Offered For Delivery

Ensure general inspection i.e. leakage, paint, cleaning, outlook etc. of tractors offered by PDI and return back tractors having observations for necessary corrective action at PDI end. To ensure defect free delivery of tractors from distribution on daily basis.

Inspection of Tractors at Transporter Yard

Random checking of tractors parked with transporter regarding condition of tractors i.e general inspection, leakage, oil, diesel and any shortages/damages on fortnightly basis.

Compliance of SOP of Logistic Operation

Ensure that SOP related to logistic operation is being followed in true letter and spirit.

Timely Despatch of Tractors from Transporter Yard

To ensure that tractors are timely dispatched on requirement of dealers and in liaison with dealer and area manager. Ensure daily loading from transport end is randomly checked before transportation.

Mobile App Verification

Ensure that mobile app verification are downloaded and regularly and reconcile with dealers on daily/alternate days. Co-ordinate with MIS regarding any issue in smooth working of App.

Record Keeping

To keep proper record of Mobil app waiver cases and other related approvals/correspondence.

Dealing with transporters & Dealers:

  • To supervise and deal with transporters/drivers in order to carry efficient logistic operation.
  • To deal with dealers and area manager for smooth logistics operation, right from distribution to dealership destination.

Maintain Record:

Input data of daily bookings, orders and goods in ERP system.

Generate Reports:

Preparation of appropriate and accurate logistics reports/ logs of all transportation and goods.

Education: BBA/MBA

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 2-4 Years of logistics operations experience preferably of an automobile company
