Key Purpose

We are looking for a person that is passionate about the value outbound campaigns can bring to an organisation, to head up the customer value management function for the Discovery Group. To ensure success in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of outbound communication channels and how to plan and execute campaigns on each to maximise ROI, an understanding of the technologies required to enable these campaigns, and a proven track record of managing teams responsible for executing outbound campaigns.

Areas Of Responsibility May Include But Not Limited To

  • Managing the customer value management team for the Discovery Group
  • Managing the requirements and prioritisation for system development for the CVM platform across the different CVM teams
  • Chairing the CVM Manco to ensure alignment between the various CVM functions in the group
  • Managing the Campaign Calendar for optimal client experience and operational efficiency
  • Ensuring that post campaign reporting is done, including insights on how to improve future campaigns
  • Defining campaign management principles, standards and processes for the Group
  • Ensuring that we adhere to the relevant legislation
  • Stay on top of CVM trends, skills, platform changes and best practice and implement new learnings where required
  • Owning the relationship with CVM suppliers (currently SAP, Consnet and Everlytic)

Competencies

Understanding of outbound campaign channels and requirements

Knowledge of outbound campaign technologies (e.g. SalesForce, SAS, SAP Marketing, Marketo, Hootsuite, Unica, etc.)

Ability to define the business case and ensure it’s measurable

Ability to scrutinise campaign reports and generate actionable insights from it

Ability to define and impement group wide principles, policies and processes

Education And Experience

  • Tertiary qualification (marketing/communication) required
  • 5-7 years experience in a CVM leadership role within a corporate environment
