Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and resourceful HR Coordinator with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to join our team. An HR Coordinator is expected to be a conceptual thinker with strong organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative and project management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Top candidates will be resourceful, effective at solving problems, and thorough in supporting in all areas of HR operations.

Essential Functions

  • First point of contact for all HR general questions / requests; escalate to the appropriate function as needed
  • Responsible for managing the human resources general email inbox
  • Partner with unemployment third party administrator to ensure accurate processing of claims in a timely manner.
  • Partner with employment verification third party administrator to ensure processing of requests in a timely manner.
  • Manage incoming / outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls
  • Maintain employee records
  • Process employee wage requests
  • Troubleshoot and assist employees with general HR questions
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Support response to internal and external requests for information
  • Contributes to a professional, positive and results-oriented team environment and makes recommendations for improvement to human resources processesAssist with compliance reporting and audits
  • Ensures that Waitr’s safety programs and initiatives are being followed
  • Assists with other HR projects as defined
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
  • 2+ years of HR Admin experience or similar experience preferred.
  • Exceptional customer focus with strong professional acumen
  • Familiar with Google Suite features
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees and members of the HR management team.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the US

  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8~30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


  • Very limited travel possible if business needs arise.
