The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides administrative support and coordination duties to the Human Resources Department. The HR Coordinator will support the HR team with duties, including new hire onboarding, HRIS data input and reporting, HR program support, talent and organizational development, and other work as directed.

The HR Coordinator formulates partnerships across EquiTrust business units/division and the Human Resources function to gain knowledge and understanding, as well as to deliver value added service to the HR Team, leadership and team members that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong aptitude and desire to learn the Human Resource body of knowledge.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
  • Outstanding organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate are must-haves.
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage time.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Training or Work Experience:

  • 1 year of professional work experience in the Human Resource field (i.e. HRIS, benefits administration, payroll, or recruiting) required.

Education:

  • Bachelors’ Degree – Required
