David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit an IT Technical Support Analyst to join their Debrecen office.
Position: IT Technical Support Analyst
Location: Debrecen, Hungary
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent technical assistance by telephone, face-to-face, or online support to the end-user community
- Analyse which hardware and/or software is needed in order to provide solutions to IT issues
- Handle all incident support cases within agreed service levels to increase end-user and/or customer satisfaction
- Ensure that all work conducted is appropriately documented within the relevant call logging systems
- Keep corporate internal support queues limited as much as possible
- Produce updates for all incidents raised in a timely manner
- Check that users are using efficiently and effectively IT applications & equipment
- Manage various maintenance and reporting functions within your area of responsibility (IT) such as handling shared resources
- Proactively use the company’s IT monitoring and management software
- Collaborate closely with internal & external support groups as well as vendors/suppliers when needed
- Produce reports on client & customers’ hardware and software when needed, such as conducting audits
- Gain a full understanding of Policies & Procedures for Information Technology
- Go above and beyond in order to ensure that IT SLA’s and KPI’s are met.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English, both oral and written (B2 minimum)
- Previous experience or degree in related field is essential
- Demonstrated experience of using tickets logging systems & ability to learn new technology/systems quickly
- Excellent IT Technical Support expertise of the following areas:
- Microsoft O/S Desktop Environment; Apple iOS, MacOS; VoIP Solutions (Telephony, Video Meetings);
- Microsoft Application Support; Portable Mobile Devices (Tablets, Phones);
- Local Area Networking, Remote Connectivity Principals – VPN, RDP;
- In-depth understanding of LAN Protocols such as TCP/IP & Two Factor Technologies
- Excellent IT knowledge as well as Security Patching (Software), Infrastructure Hardware (Routers, Switches), File Servers (Physical, Virtual) & Network Operating Systems (Linux, VMWare, Microsoft)
- Proven ability of building and maintaining close working relationship with Customer representatives at all time
- Proactive and reactive aptitude to provide required service-related information to customers, staff and management
- Strong ability to build and gain respect and confidence from team members and related management teams
- Capacity to multitask and prioritise with the ability to adapt easily & to deliver quality to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to motivate others.
