Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Molding Operator for the 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this role starts at $19/hr plus a $1.25/hr shift premium. The core hours are 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm. This role is based out of our South Milwaukee, WI facility.

Position Overview

The Molding Operator will be responsible for performing duties necessary to complete the final testing of E-Caps and repair molding defects. In this role, the operator is responsible for meeting production goals while adhering to safety and quality guidelines in the use of electrical test equipment.

In This Function You Will

  • Rubberize and assemble vacuum interrupters.
  • Operate molding press to mold E-Caps.
  • Load and remove E-Caps from cure oven.
  • Perform electrical tests and repair as needed.
  • Notify department team leader / supervisor of all material and/or equipment deficiencies.
  • Contribute suggestions for methods or product improvement.


Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of South Milwaukee will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a Molding environment.
  • Ability to operate various tools and equipment consistent with the job.

Position Success Criteria

  • Must be able to walk/stand for an eight (8) hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software programs such as SAP and other applications.
