Overview:

The Pick/Packer will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and packing products for shipment to customers. This includes reading and following pick lists, verifying that the correct items are selected, and ensuring that all orders are properly packaged and labeled for delivery. The Pick/Packer will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and for participating in inventory management tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently select and pack products for shipment to customers

  • Verify that orders are properly packaged and labeled for delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Participate in inventory management tasks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Basic computer skills

Additional responsibilities for the Pick/Packer may include:

  • Receiving and processing incoming orders and returns
  • Assisting with the organization and maintenance of warehouse inventory
  • Participating in regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Operating material handling equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks as needed
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers

The Pick/Packer will be expected to adhere to all safety and security protocols, and to follow established procedures and guidelines for the handling and storage of products. The Pick/Packer will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive work ethic, and for contributing to a team-oriented work environment. Ongoing training and development opportunities may be provided to support the Pick/Packer in their role.
