This is an opportunity to serve as a Senior Data Engineer at a pre-IPO company with an award winning team culture. They just raised $325M, and are looking for engineers to take on a hyper-growth challenge. This an opportunity with a lot of growth potential.
Potential Responsibilities
Your responsibilities can range from:
- As the Senior Data Engineer , you will translate business requirements into data models that are easy to understand and used for deriving business metrics
- You will design, implement and maintain data pipelines that deliver data with reliable quality
- You will work closely with growth teams, finance teams, engineers and product teams to understand the data needs of the business and product systems
- You will help identify and document data requirements for the engineer team and introduce the processes and controls
- You will Ensure that the business data and the user engagement data are accurate and correct.
Helpful Background Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 4+ years of experience working in data engineering
- Familiar with data warehouse (Snowflake) and database (MySQL)
- Experience with streaming and big data platforms (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop and Hive), workflow systems (Airflow)
- Familiar with Python and Java
- Familiar with AWS
- You have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively collaborate with technical and business partners

Salary Range: $100,000-$200,000 base.
