The Sourcing team ensure that all ASOS Own Buy suppliers are fit for purpose and deliver “Fashion with Integrity” and this is an important role that will help us to achieve this mission. The responsibilities of the role will include managing current supplier relationships and supplier on-boarding. Working closely with ASOS Commercial teams and suppliers, our mission is to deliver a sustainable supply base which is capable of delivering our ‘Fashion with Integrity’ strategy. You will work closely with our commercial teams and suppliers to develop more transparent and sustainable supply chains across the globe.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing…

Supporting Supplier Management

  • Supports sourcing team by chasing up outstanding information for sourcing projects
  • Sends out samples for costing for potential new suppliers
  • Supports the Sourcing team by scoping out new suppliers and factories
  • Manages the departmental travel tracker – ensures it sent to Finance for key dates
  • Responsible for agendas for meetings
  • Responsible for updating the master supplier database – ensuring updated supplier contact details are held at all times
  • Responsible for monitoring the Sourcing Supplier and Extranet inboxes

Managing Data and Key Tasks

  • Responsible for monthly Supply Base Report
  • Supplier on-boarding/ factory on-boarding – manages forms and responsible for keeping the supplier database updated
  • Manages the Supplier Set Up Tracker and works with Technical team to arrange audits
  • Updates latest Commodity price tracker
  • Manages the Sourcing and Extranet Inboxes and ensures all emails are replied to in a timely manner

Qualifications

We’d love to meet, someone with…

  • A background in Fashion Retail
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with other areas of Retail, including Buying, Merchandising, Fabric, Ethical and Sustainable teams
  • A passion for the ASOS brand, values and ‘Fashion with Integrity’ strategy
  • The ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Graduate Level
