About The Role

The key directive of the US & Canada Eater Membership Operations team is to grow Uber’s subscription program – Uber One. In this role, you will lead analytics to guide our strategy of growing and retaining the Uber One subscriber base. We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about finding and implementing creative solutions to our most complex problems. You will work closely with our Leadership Team, and drive alignment across the entire organization, including Product, Legal, CRM, Business Development, and Marketing. The ideal candidate for this role has a proven track record of creative problem solving, designing and carrying out acquisition campaigns, and working effectively with cross-functional partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and track critical metrics: maintain dashboards and track KPI trends to surface important insights
  • Analytics for product improvement: Generate Use sophisticated analytics platforms to generate insights which will lead to operations and product improvements.
  • Strategy and stakeholder management: Present analyses and findings to recommend which projects the team should prioritize, and set a timeline to reach goals quickly. Optimally drive projects through coordination with stakeholders and project tracking
  • End to end experiments: Own large-scale projects and run experiments to drive Uber One subscriber base growth

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Data Analysis, Operations Management or Strategy
  • Experience in SQL and data analytics
  • Outstanding Excel skills/ data management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy, operations, or related field
  • Self-starter with an analytical orientation; compassionate and leans in and embraces rolling up your sleeves with your team; skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments; flourishes with change and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience with large, unstructured, and complex datasets
  • Bias toward action and constant push for clarity and execution
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as partner management, consensus building, and project management
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, physics, chemistry, engineering, economics, computer science, operational research)
