Location: Sutton Bonington
Salary: £22,149 to £24,948 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post in the School of Biosciences based at the Sutton Bonington Campus.
The successful candidate will assist in planting, harvesting, packaging and distributing seed at the Nottingham Arabidopsis Stock Centre.
Candidates should have a minimum of two A Levels in relevant subjects or equivalent vocational qualifications (NVQ, City & Guild), plus some experience in a relevant technical/scientific. Familiarity with plant husbandry is desirable.
Candidates should be experienced in plant handling/stock control and be willing to work in the glasshouse as well as the laboratory. They should show an aptitude for problem solving and self-organisation and must also be proficient in MS Office and on-line databases and user interfaces. Evidence of individual drive, practical initiative, operational responsibility and proven aptitude for teamwork will be advantageous.
This post is available immediately and will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2026. Hours of work are 36.25 per week (full time). Job share arrangements would be considered.
