Position Summary

  • Accountable for the delivery of the full P&L of single (SA) or multiple categories ( Export Markets) in the defined geography
  • Leads and coaches the Sales , Key Accounts and Brand team to implement business strategies/tactics to achieve revenue targets
  • Leads or collaborates with the marketing team depending on the country go-to-market model
  • To provide strategic direction to Private and Public Market Key Accounts aligned with the strategic direction of the organisation, which will ensure growth in revenue and profitability of Pfizer products
  • Ensures that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and SOPs, Pfizer values, and global guidelines (including MAPP, FCPA), as appropriate.

Position Responsibilities

  • Sets strategic long term vision for Pfizer in the category; obtain stakeholder and leadership alignment and colleague engagement
  • Develops strategies unique to the needs of the category to maximize the patient impact and the revenue for Pfizer
  • Drives execution of campaigns, PoAs, tactics and customer plans
  • Optimizes the profitability of the category by making active trade-off and resource allocation decisions
  • Leads and coaches a high performing team and develop colleagues in line with the Pfizer competency models
  • Reviews, designs and monitors the effectiveness of the Sales and Marketing Team through KPIs
  • Develop and implement Key Account Management Strategies for Public and Private Hospital sectors, Wholesalers and Pharmacies.
  • Ensures high standards of compliance to norms, policies, and procedures and instills a proactive compliance risk management culture throughout his/her direct team and the x-functional organization
  • Role models Pfizer values, culture elements with visible and inspirational leadership focused on compliance and integrity
  • A key member of the country or cluster leadership team contributing to the overall success of Pfizer in the country and/or cluster

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Broad knowledge and experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical environment (10 years)
  • Leading high performing teams by winning in the right way
  • P&L management and financial acumen
  • Demonstrated success in working in and across diverse teams
  • Fluent written and spoken English
